MBass Idee 1 And Story

Hubert sold me his Cosat 6 string Mbass, and it sounds fantastic. Both instruments my Consat and Huberts MBass were built together in 2016 by Gerald Marleaux. Here is the Story

In 2018, I visited Hubert, a trip I still remember fondly. During that time, I spent some time experimenting with Huberts MBass, trying out a chord-melody solo that I had been working on. It was a simple test at first—just a few harmonies woven together with a melodic line—but in Hubert’s cozy living room, it suddenly came alive.

The warm atmosphere, the conversations, and the shared passion for music made the visit special. Playing the MBass there, testing new ideas and letting the chord-melody flow freely, turned into one of those creative moments that stay with you for years.
